Who is Individual Coaching for?
Individual Coaching Programs are ideal for:
When do organisations choose Individual Coaching?
A large part of our lives is spent at work. That’s why it’s important for every employee to enjoy their work, find it fulfilling, and continue to develop. An individual coaching program helps professionals tap into their talents, take initiative, and build strong relationships, better results, and healthier organizations. Companies with a coaching culture increasingly turn to individual coaching when an employee faces a new challenge. This could be a new role, a shift in vision or strategy requiring the employee to develop new skills, and so on.
Sometimes coaching starts from a difficult situation, where the coachee has been underperforming for a longer period, has lost motivation, etc., while the company still believes in their potential. In both cases, it helps to have an (external) trusted advisor who observes from the sidelines—impartially and without bias—who thinks along, listens, and challenges the coachee, enabling them to regain their strength and create the desired 'shift'.
Which topics are addressed?
Together with your coach, you will work on:
- Behavioral Change: Learn to consciously manage counterproductive habits that no longer serve you
- Competence Development: Strengthen the skills that truly help you move forward
- Values and Beliefs: Gain deep insight into what drives your daily functioning
- Identity Coaching: Discover who you truly are and which contexts and projects suit you best
- Well-being Coaching: Develop greater resilience and balance across all areas of your life
Possible topics may include:
- Clarifying vision and mission, working purposefully, prioritizing, delegating, giving feedback, motivating, …
- Negotiation, sales, influencing, personal branding, networking, …
- Leading through change, creating buy-in, situational leadership, coaching leadership, fostering ownership …
- Communication skills (active listening, empathy, powerful questioning, being fully present, …)
- Improving team performance, conflict management, decision-making processes, time management, mentoring, …
- Reintegration (after illness), managing stress, resilience, assertiveness, work-life balance
You will be coached in a safe environment where you can think out loud, be challenged, and receive support. You will gain clarity on your strengths, growth opportunities, and blind spots. By exploring your challenges from new, refreshing perspectives, you make better choices, act more effectively, and discover previously hidden possibilities. This allows you to take targeted steps toward your goals and act with greater confidence.

What does an Individual Coaching Program look like?
An Individual Coaching Program is a process, consisting of several steps.
Intake Conversation
Each program begins with an intake conversation in which the objectives are discussed and documented. The manager, coach, and coachee are all present. All parties commit to the program by signing a coaching agreement. This conversation typically lasts one and a half hours.
Coaching Sessions 1, 2, and 3
About two weeks after the intake conversation, the coach and coachee meet for the actual coaching sessions. The program consists of five sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, with approximately one month between sessions. Ideally, these sessions take place at the coach’s home. If this is not possible, the coachee books a private meeting room without distractions.
Progress Evaluation
After the second coaching session, all parties come together to review the positive progress made so far. We also assess whether the initially set objectives are still relevant and make refinements where necessary.
Coaching Sessions 4 and 5
Approximately two weeks after the intake conversation, the coach and coachee continue with the remaining coaching sessions. The program consists of five sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, with about one month between sessions. Ideally, these sessions take place at the coach’s home. If this is not possible, the coachee arranges a private meeting room without distractions.
Closing Conversation
Each program concludes with a closing conversation in which progress relative to the initial objectives is discussed and documented. Next steps are also determined during this session. The manager, coach, and coachee are all present.
