Peer Coaching Sessions are a highly effective reflection tool in which you meet in small, safe groups with peers or colleagues to learn from each other’s work experiences, questions and challenges. You reflect on real cases, share insights and collaboratively seek solutions. It is a structured method aligned with peer coaching, focusing on reciprocity, trust and professional growth. The goal of the Peer Coaching Sessions methodology is learning through knowledge sharing, insight and collaboration.

Everyone acts as both a questioner and a contributor, using the collective intelligence of the group to grow further in their role. Peer Coaching Sessions are based on equality and help build a strong network among peers while elevating each other to a higher level.

Intended for leaders who want to grow in their role and handle resistance, doubt or difficult conversations more effectively. Through Peer Coaching Sessions, they gain insight into their own blind spots, learn from similar cases and strengthen their leadership. Creating more calm, confidence and impact in their role.

What can you expect?

You learn how to facilitate Peer Coaching Sessions within your group using proven models such as the SHIFT! method, the Balint method or the 5W1H method. You discover how to bring structure to reflection conversations, maintain safety in the group and listen systemically. We combine theory with practice in small groups where knowledge sharing and collective intelligence are central. You learn to actively listen, summarize, mirror and ask powerful questions. If the foundation is missing, we start with a short session to build the necessary competencies.

3 Peer Coaching Sessions – 3 hours

  • Start from the "How can I?" question
  • Select the most relevant "How can I?" questions
  • Everyone leaves with valuable insights, immediately applicable in their work environment

Follow-up Session after 6 Months – 2 hours

  • Discuss successes, learning moments, and obstacles
  • Deeper analysis of specific recurring patterns or blind spots
  • Group reflection: How do we experience the group as a learning tool?
  • Evaluation of the group’s process, including safety, openness and engagement

At Coaching The Shift, you work with seasoned trainers who are not only ICF-certified (PCC or MCC level) but also masters at quickly building trust with groups and individuals. Magaly De Smet

Magaly is the visionary and driving force behind Coaching The Shift. As the youngest Master Certified Coach ever in Europe, she recognised early on the importance of team coaching and brought it to prominence in the business world. She has trained hundreds of professionals to become certified (team) coaches and remains a leading voice in the sector. Magaly is valued for her ability to make the unspoken discussable and actionable, resulting in deep and lasting change. She has built a team of strong coaches and trainers who embody the DNA of Coaching The Shift. Together, they contribute every day to shifting clients from an ‘I’ to a ‘We’ mindset across diverse sectors.

Christine Esteingeldoir

Christine supports organisations in improving performance and strengthening relationships within teams. She works as a coach, trainer and facilitator in the fields of leadership and team development. Her approach is rooted in self-awareness and reflection. Christine is an accredited ICF trainer (Level 1 & 2) and works with tools such as Insights Discovery and the Enneagram. She is also a supervisor and peer group facilitator in the training of ICF-certified coaches. She guides teams on themes such as trust, communication and change, and empowers leaders to motivate others and achieve results. Her style is structured, creative and impactful.

Johan Van Eeckhout

Johan guides leaders through the leap of a lifetime. As a sparring partner and “parachutist,” he helps them strengthen their leadership with a fresh perspective and new approaches. Together, they thoroughly prepare for the jump so they land as conscious, decisive leaders with lasting impact. In contexts such as growth, conflict, change or mergers, he works with leaders and teams to build resilience, clarity and connection. Driven by her deep belief in a new leadership paradigm, Dorothée joined Coaching The Shift. She has grown into an inspirer, co-leader, and sounding board for Magaly. Dorothée is highly valued for her holistic perspective, rich life experience and expertise as a trainer and coach. She approaches leadership through the connection between body and mind, believing that authentic leadership begins with self-awareness. With extensive experience in international leadership roles, deep expertise and a warm, respectful commitment, she inspires and engages people, inviting them to adopt a fresh and expansive view of their reality and potential.

Marijke Van Moldergem

Marijke is a Master Certified Coach with over 4,000 coaching hours, guiding leaders at all levels with a gentle yet decisive approach focused on awareness, resilience, and sustainable change. Specialising in change and leadership themes, she believes every change is an opportunity to grow. She brings theory to life with practical examples and fosters self-awareness, leading to lasting behavioural change. With over 20 years of corporate experience, including 10 years as HRD Manager at TNT Express and a rich training portfolio, she quickly understands the challenges leaders and their organisations face.

Eva Declercq

Eva is fascinated by the interaction between people, tasks, and the (work) environment. She focuses on collaboration, team dynamics, (personal) leadership, motivation, perfectionism, stress and burnout. With a background in psychology and marketing, and years of experience as a manager in the recruitment and staffing sector, she connects effortlessly with a wide range of teams and organisations. As a coach, she is non-judgemental and respectful, yet unafraid to mirror and challenge. As a team coach, she quickly senses group dynamics and identifies what is needed for growth. With humour and energy, she encourages participants to step out of their comfort zones and explore new paths.
